I used to be little, and now...I'm not.

I used to play dress-up and imagine that I could be anything that I wanted to be, and now...I still do.

When I really was little, my mom read me Cinderella. I remember being upset because the pictures in the book didn't look at all like Cinderella was 'supposed' to look. I decided that I would like to show everyone what I thought the characters in books looked like. And so, my passion for illustration was born.

Thanks to the inspirational teachings of art teachers (except for my senior high one) I decided to go to Carnegie Mellon University where I received a BFA in Illustration. After graduating, I sold a greeting card to Renaissance Greeting Card Company. It sold well, and soon we were launching my own humor line called, "Rhinestones". A Halloween card won a "Louie Award".

I illustrated THE OFFICIAL CAT (and DOG) CODEPENDENTS calendar(s) published by Sellers Productions. They have also been published as humor books, a collector plate series by the Danbury Mint, and feautured by Gene Shalit on the Today Show.

I have a children's book published called, THE GIANT'S TOYBOX, that I wrote and illustrated. Also watch for my new calendar, OUR DYSFUNCTIONAL FAMILY PLANNER.

I live in Iowa with my wonderful husband, beautiful children, old cat, and perfect poodle. Life doesn't get much better than that!
